Customs and Fees in the Philippines - UPS Shipping for Online Buyers

Lesson on UPS calculation for those buying stuff online.

This is also a challenge for online retailers and ecommerce entrepreneurs. With my package bought worth 11,199.71, it's the following:

Custom duty - 112
UPS brokerage fee - 700
Custom docs stamps - 265
Import processing fee - 250

This makes your package more expensive than it actually is.

Then they add VAT 12%

VAT - 1503

Then they add the actual import processing fee and customs stamp to the whole amount

Payment at the door: 2130
